Erasmus Student Network Kısaca ESN

Gittiğiniz şehre ve ülkeye göre değişmekle birlikle size oldukça dolu dolu günler yaşatabilecek ya da sadece formaliteden öteye geçemeyebilecek uluslararası oluşum..
Bulundukları şehirlerde Erasmus öğrencilerinin kaynaşmasını sağlayan,seyahatlar,partiler düzenleyen ve bir ersamusun büyük küçük demeden her ihtiyacına koşan yararlımı yararlı topluluk.
Tabi her şehirde üyelerinin de gösterdiği performans ve girişkenlikle de paralel olarak etkilerinin aynı olduğu söylenemez.Mesela ben Braşov ESN gerçekten iyi diye düşünürken Cluj ESN i gördükten sonra bizimkilerin daha çok eksiklerinin olduğunu söylemekten geri duramadım :) Cluj da 2 gece geçirme fırsatım oldu ve haftanın her günü için bir aktivite düzenliyordu ordaki ESN.
Haklarını yemeyelim şimdi Braşov ESN ben daha gitmeden bana bir mentor(body) ayarladılar ve ben daha gitmeden onunla konuşmaya başlayıp sorularımı sorma fırsatım oldu.Oraya vardığım gece saat 12de beni tren garına kadar gelip alıp gece 2ye kadar kalacak yer arayıp bulacak kadar vefalıydı benim mentor Bogdan :)
Ve geçirdiğim 5 ay boyunca deyim yerindeyse etle tırnak gibiydik,her sıkıntımda bazen hiç işi bana bırakmadan sorunları çözmesi,ve benim bölümümden mezun olması hocalarla aramı yapmasıda cabasıydı :)
Gerçekten o kadar etkinlik,gezi,partiler -özellikle welcome ve bye bye partiler muhteşemdi-sayısız anıya ve sıkı dostlara sahip oldum sayelerinde..
Şimdi Braşov ESN nin başkanı Anitha TATA nın siz,yeni gidecek öğrenciler için yazdığı,kendilerinin ne yaptığı hakkında kendi yazısını paylaşacağım sizlerle.Birinci ağızdan duymanın her zaman daha iyi olacağını düşündüğüm için sordum blogum için yazmasını sağolsun seve seve teklifimi kabul etti :)

How it started?

The ESN local section of Brașov is relatively new in the ESN family, being founded in 2010 by only a couple of students from Transylvania University. They all tasted an unforgetable experience: the Erasmus mobility before creating the section.

Shortly after they arrived back home, they formed the section and started making a difference. In time, ESN Brașov  experienced a continuous flux of enthusiast and hardworking people that shared the same dream: creating a better impression of our country for the incoming Erasmus students.

We’re doing our best to support the Erasmus students by offering them help and the social context in order to integrate in our student community.

Our team is made out of more people and it comprises a Local Board, the National Coordinator of SocialErasmus – our local pride, and a couple of departments lead by different members:

1.      Webmaster

2.      IT/Design

3.      Party Planners

4.      Fieldtrip Planners

Our Mission

We are joining our forces to help Erasmus students with what they need, from presenting accommodations,  to familiarizing them with the whereabouts, be it transportation, a cheap copy center or a hidden place to buy the best coffee in town. But our most important mission is to help them in the process of integrating in the community, thus we organize for them 

events where they can meet other students, be it Romanian or foreign and creating strong friendship bonds.

We also wish to emphasize the importance of the help given by our volunteers. As a reward, they get different advantages. Their involvement in organizing events and interacting with other members from all around the world enables them to grow professionally and educate themselves non-formally in a very short period of time.

Our activities

ESN BRAȘOV has the great advantage of being surrounded by beautiful landscapes. We are trying to show it to every incoming generation of Erasmus students. We focus on:

1.Trips:

We organize trips in the cities that hold beautiful fortresses such as Râșnov or Rupea. Sometimes we go hiking with them, showing them our local pride, the Bran Castle and also the Peleș Castle in Sinaia.

Other important activities include trips to certain factories such as the IAR (the helicopter factory in Ghimbav) or Ciucaș Brewery.

2.Social events:

SocialErasmus is an important project of ESN Brasov and we encourage Erasmus students to get involved in events aiming to help the not so lucky community groups, such as autistic children.
